Emory Trip 6/30/2008

After long draining day at the pre-Op we left the hospital ready to be back Tuesday at 6:00am. Before we left for Atlanta, we were told of the possibilities of emergencies going before us. There was a newborn baby that needed emergency surgey tommorrow, and we were postponed until Wednesday morning. All I can say is praise God we are not seen as emergency, and pray for the newborn baby that is needed surgey. Wednesday we will endure surgey that will entail a replacement of part of the aorta with a mechanical valve that will reduce chances of other surgeys. We have some pics on carepages.com (a hospital page for patients). Go to it and check it out. We thank you for your prayers and believe that God is still in the business of mircales.

We Love you!!

5:00am Thursday Morning June 26

We are in Spartanburg, and I could not sleep. So I decided to blog one quick thought. In Isaiah we are told that God's ways are not our ways or His thoughts our thoughts. I hold to this truth b/c of the tough times my family has been through lately. God knows all and better than I can ever imagine. He holds the keys to all the answers. Who knows the real reason why we went to Summerville, Ga. I think it is more than just to go to FBC. Maybe in the workings of God's mind that He had plans all alone to get us connected to Emory Atlanta. Wow, to think that He would do that is awesome. Our God is awesome.

Tuesday June 24, 2008

What week it has been already. We have been very busy doing service projects in beaufort, and Vacation Bible School at Shell Point Baptist. We are prayerfully awaiting Jonah's surgery July 1, and know God is in control. We will be heading to Spartanburg for a funeral and then driving to Atlanta on Sunday for Pre-Op and Surgery. We love you guys and appreciate your prayers. Stay connected with this blog site for further updates.
